I'm not sure why this article showed up in my feed, but thank you! I grew up right next to where they built that bridge (completed after I left home) but I go there every time I visit my parents. I love going there, and have wondered what others not from Redding think of it.

Funny side note: in the planning stages the newspaper claimed the bridge was glass so it wouldn't cast a shadow and interfere with the salmon migration. On the shadow, they definitely failed. But they got it right on everything else.
