It's so odd to read these kinds of articles and think, "Yeah, this sounds just about why I left."

Among other issues, I had a boss who, likely under stress of his own, started making assumptions about what I was doing. And I guess it must have been easier to keep the assumptions than process the new information I gave him.

Visibility...gone.

Meaning? Well, he just ignores me unless he has a complaint. He sure focused on that paycheck a lot, but that's not nearly enough for real meaning.

Balance? In the middle of the pandemic, the company actually cut our time off. When I brought it up to my direct supervisor, he just said that "he wasn't aware of the change," then seemed to have considered the topic closed. When I brought it up again later, he simply ignored my comment.

Yeah, those three items summarize it nicely.
