My boss put something on my calendar that conflicted with what I had. When I asked him what the meeting was about, he reported me to HR and put me on a PIP for "insubordination." For literally asking him what the meeting was about.
"I would never question my boss. I'd drop everything for him," he told me when I tried to get clarification.
I decided to walk out. I'm still reeling from that. I just don't understand how he could possibly think he was building a good culture.
