My Daughter is Becoming Ted Lasso

And not in a good way

The first season of Ted Lasso was a revelation. Someone being happy despite adversity? We need more happy warriors like that.

If only he didn’t leave his peanut butter jars open everywhere.

Now, every day I find this hiding around the house:

A picture of an open, half eaten jar of peanut butter with a kitchen that desperately needs to be cleaned in the background.

My daughter is a fifth grader who revels in making new friends and lifting others up. She’s happy and fun, always willing to try new things.

She also leaves open jars of peanut butter around the house.

She thinks I don’t like her eating the peanut butter, so she’ll hide the jars so I don’t catch her.

But honestly, I don’t care about the peanut butter.

I just want her to put on the darn lid.
