Thank you for this response. He was so fortunate in elementary school to have had amazing aids and some really good teachers. He's been in middle school for about a month and already basically everyone in administration knows who he is (in mostly a good way) and his case manager is just wonderful.

But, of course, there are struggles. With some of the teachers, and definitely with the kids.

We'll see. I really hope things get better. We're fortunately in a big enough city that there are other options out there, it's just hard to know if those will be any better.
