There's all sort of weird stuff going on right now. I was reading in Inc about companies desperate for employees with database systems that automatically filter out people that would be immensely qualified. Then we have stories like this about companies who apparently have enough applicants to treat them like garbage.
Then there's the question of how you treat the employees once they're hired, which is a whole other issue.
Hopefully this gets better. I imagine it'll be over a lot of kicking and screaming companies trying to keep things the way they are.
